ABOUT US
Live at the Lounge Studio encompasses many online mediums, aimed at building the music community for both new and seasoned players.
Taking root through our weekly streams in the summer of 2025, we have grown into much more; including a Podcast. All of these outlets provide a place for the community to come and connect with each other through music.
Viewers are able to interact with players easily through many of the outlets because of the online presence, further enhancing community growth.
We have 3 pillars to our process. Performance → Conversation → Participation.
Live at the Lounge Artist Series is a live studio concert program designed to give artists full creative control over their own shows in an intimate, professionally produced setting. Each performance allows musicians to present their work exactly how they envision it, while still benefiting from real-time audience interaction through both in-studio guests and live streaming.
The Artist Series operates similarly to traditional live concerts, with artists curating their own setlists, pacing, and presentation. Shows are streamed live to make the experience accessible for performers, staff, and viewers, while preserving the energy and authenticity of a real performance environment.
Each Artist Series show features a small invited studio audience, creating a behind-the-scenes concert atmosphere that feels personal and immersive. The combination of live music, optional storytelling, and natural crowd interaction builds a genuine connection between the artist and audience.
All audio and video are captured live with no pre-recording of any kind. Sound is sent directly into the stream for clean, high-quality audio, maintaining the same standard and spontaneity found in live venue performances. This fully live approach allows for organic moments, unexpected interactions, and an experience that feels honest, raw, and memorable.
Live at the Lounge is a live music podcast, with an opportunity for people to collaborate in a live setting with the ease of audience interaction. We give young musicians a chance to show off hard-work and talent in a fun environment, whilst spreading their work through an accessible medium.
We work similar to gigs, shows, and jam sessions. We work through streaming for the ease of all parties; players, staff, and audience.
Once a week, groups of young musicians put their creativity into a live show. Podcast elements like talking are implemented into the show, creating a group dynamic. Fusion between music and chatting makes our show unique, and builds a hangout/chill aesthetic and atmosphere.
Sound is directly output into the stream for crisp audio capture. No stream is pre-recorded in anyway, including audio and video. This creates a similar standard that restaurant/bar gigs have. Yet, that also makes funny and exciting moments that much more enjoyable.
Live at the Lounge Jams are open community jam sessions that bring together musicians, artists, and listeners from across Oklahoma. These sessions are a space for creativity, collaboration, and connection; extending the spirit of LATL beyond the screen and into a shared musical experience.
Each jam is open to the public, welcoming both seasoned players and newcomers to perform, improvise, and network in a relaxed, supportive setting. The sessions are also streamed live, allowing online viewers to enjoy spontaneous performances and real-time interaction with the musicians.
The LATL Jams build bridges between the local scene and the digital audience, blending the energy of a live show with the accessibility of an online broadcast. It’s where the community meets creativity, and every session becomes a shared moment of music and expression.
